About Linda
Linda was born in El Salvador and raised in San Leandro, CA. With years of experience as a private nanny, daycare teacher, and behavioral health and social services professional, Linda founded La Casita de Linda to create a nurturing space for children to grow and thrive. She worked with infants and toddlers, specializing in infant care, sleep training, and developmental support through play. Her background also includes five years in the First Five program, helping families in low-income communities with parenting, tantrum management, positive discipline techniques, and addressing social determinants of health.
Based on her public health background and work in behavioral health and social services, Linda’s approach with children focuses on nurturing self-love, empathy, and structured activities that foster creativity, problem-solving, and awareness. Linda holds a Bachelor's in Public Health, a minor in Human Development, and a Master’s in Public Administration. As a mother of two children with special needs, Linda brings both professional knowledge and personal experience to her work, ensuring every child receives the best care and support.
